Is this right for my dog?
It's for dogs with chronic allergies who constantly scratch, have hot spots, recurring ear infections, paw licking, or thinning fur. If the symptoms keep recurring, no matter what you try, the skin barrier is breaking down and needs to be rebuilt.
Is it safe? Can I give it with Apoquel or Cytopoint?
Yes. It is 100% natural, non-GMO, manufactured in a GMP-certified facility, and tested by independent laboratories. Safe for daily, long-term use and compatible with all medications, including Apoquel, Cytopoint, Zenrelia, cortisone, Benadryl, Zyrtec, and antibiotics. It contains no active pharmaceutical ingredient, so there are no interactions. Most owners continue their dog's medication for the first 4 to 6 weeks while the barrier is being established, and then reduce it in consultation with their veterinarian.
Does your liquid collagen contain chicken or beef?
No. Chicken and beef are among the most common food allergens in dogs – using both in an allergy product could worsen itching. Our collagen is marine collagen from wild-caught fish, with no chicken, beef, poultry, or dairy. It's hypoallergenic, up to 98% absorbed, and contains all three collagen types that make up the skin barrier.
Why do allergy medications stop working after a few weeks?
Medications suppress symptoms but don't rebuild the skin barrier. As the barrier continues to break down, the symptoms return. Collagen repairs the structure – that's why the results last.
Does it also work if a change in diet hasn't helped?
Yes. A change in diet removes trigger proteins but doesn't repair the damaged barrier. Collagen rebuilds it, preventing allergens from penetrating.
Does it also work on younger dogs?
Yes – and it's especially important for them. If your young dog is already scratching, its protective barrier is already damaged. Acting early means less damage to repair, faster results, and years of expensive medication.
My dog has a sensitive stomach. Is this safe?
Yes. Our liquid formula is gentle and easily digestible. Collagen peptides and Omega-3 are both well tolerated. If you're unsure, start with half the dose for the first few days.
